Goal setting with high school students

I would like to know how other schools have started this and with what groups of students. Are you using the NWEA forms or have you developed your own?

This year, our high school students took the NWEA mathematics, reading, and language usage assessments in the Fall, Winter, and are now getting prepared for their Spring assessments. This is a first for our high school, where historically it has been assessing in Fall and Spring and closing the school year. Back to this year, with 9, 10, 11 students, they will get their final assessment reports, where they are, and begin planning on goal-setting with next school year. This year was a learning year for all instructional staff members to become familiar with NWEA and begin to share their understanding with students to begin goal-setting and working towards goals next school year. Now, with funding discussions taking the stage, assessments must be a priority for next school year.
