iPads for intervention

We are purchasing iPads for intervention instruction. They will be used for reading in grades 1-5 and math in grades 1-8.  What apps have you found to be successful in your teaching?

Start in the app store, there's plenty for free or 99 cents. The camera and sound recording abilities are perfect for documenting kids at learning. The only road block on this device is the absence of flash player.
