Reaching the end of the RIT Range

By GillyS on October 01, 2012

What do you do with high attaining students in Grades 7/8/9 who are reaching the end of the RIT range? Do you simply stop testing with MAP and use on-going teacher/school-based assessments?
How do you explain to parents and students when there is limited growth because studnets no longer have the battery of test questions?

When we have students in the lower grades who are coming to the end of the 2+ options , do you move them on to the tsest?

Thank you
