Responding to your fellow community members is a great way to both participate and build good will with your peers. Note, community managers are also watching for discussions and posts that get a good deal of response. Each month 1 or 2 of these discussions will be featured as key posts/discussions on the front page.
1.) Mark It Helpful
Providing feedback on a post helps the person who posted a discussion, reply or comment understand if they're on the right track. It helps them gauge how other community members feel about their post.
2.) Like It
Liking is an easy way to provide instant feedback without replying.
3.) Respond to It
Did the response move you? Do you have further questions you'd like to ask to extend the discussion. Feel free to reply.
