Question
When you assign a Skills Locator mission to a student, you are able to start the Skills Locator at a RIT score, a grade level, or remediation. What does choosing a specific starting point do?

Answer
Selecting the starting point closest to a student's current achievement level helps the Skills Locator find the skills a student needs to work on as quickly as possible.
  • Grade level and RIT: The Skills Locator will start by assessing skills associated with that grade or RIT level.
  • Remediation: The Skills Locator will start by assessing skills two grade levels below the student's rostered grade.
