Proctor cannot access Manage Test Sessions

Symptom
A user who wants to proctor tests does not have access to Manage Test Sessions in the MAP Administration and Reporting Center (MARC).

Explanation
The user does not have the proctor role assigned to their account.

Solution

Modify the user's account individually

A user with the ability to modify user accounts (data administrator, assessment coordinator, or system administrator) must add the proctor role to the user's account. See How to add or modify users in MAP Growth.

 
Modify accounts in bulk

A user with the data administrator role can assign the proctor role (and other roles) to users in bulk by importing the Additional Users roster template. This template is found in the Roster File Template document, downloadable from the Information Center in MARC.

 
If the user has the proctor role assigned:

  1. Confirm the user is logging in to MARC.
  2. Confirm the user is logging in with the correct username
