This article details the accommodations and accessibility options for Client-Server MAP testing, and the difference between accommodations and accessibility tools.

For information about accommodations and accessibility in Web-Based MAP, see Accommodations and accessibility tools.

Accommodations: Accommodations are changes to the testing environment that make it easier for a student to demonstrate their achievement. NWEA does not place restrictions on which accommodations you can use. Please carefully consider your state and district accommodation policy, along with the accommodations given to students during instruction, so that accommodations are as consistent as possible between the classroom and assessments.

You can track accommodations given by using the Accommodations Checklist.

Accessibility tools: Accessibility tools are assistive technology tools that help a student interact with the test. MAP tests are compatible with some assistive technology tools native to the testing device's operating system or separately purchased software.
