The student's status in the testing session does not match the student's actual testing status. You may also get errors when you try to change a student's status, such as "There was an error trying to process your student status change."
Sometimes the proctor console will stop refreshing properly and become out of sync with the students' actual testing status. For example, a student is currently in the middle of a test, but the proctor console lists the student's status as Awaiting Student.
To resolve this issue, try the following steps. If the first step doesn't work, continue to the next step:
- Click Refresh Status.
- Refresh the page in the browser.
- Navigate away from the proctor console by selecting Home at the top of the page. Then return to the session by selecting Manage Test Sessions > Return to Testing. This will not affect any students who are currently testing.
