The student's testing status in the proctor console does not match the student's actual testing status.
Sometimes the proctor console will stop refreshing properly and become out of sync with the students' actual testing status. For example, a student is currently in the middle of a test, but the proctor console lists the student's status as Awaiting Student.
To resolve this issue, try the following steps on the proctor's computer:
- Click Refresh Status.
- Refresh the page in the browser.
- Navigate away from the proctor console by selecting Home at the top of the page. Then return to the session by selecting Manage Test Sessions > Return to Testing. This will not affect any students who are currently testing.
