How to view a list of students in a class

There are two methods to view the list of students assigned to a particular instructor: in Manage Users or in Manage Test Sessions.


To view the class list in Manage Users:

You must have one of the following user roles.
  • District Assessment Coordinator
  • Data Administrator
  • System Administrator

Follow these steps:
  1. Select Manage Users.
  2. Search for the instructor's user profile.
  3. Select the instructor and click View/Update.
  4. The User Profile page appears.
  5. Scroll to the Instructor section.
  6. Select the desired term, and click View/Update Term.
  7. Select the desired class, and click View Class List.
  8. If the View Class List button is not available, no students are assigned to the class.


To view the class list in Manage Test Sessions:

You must have the proctor role for MAP Growth. This search method will only show the class list for the current term.

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to Manage Test Sessions.
  2. Click Find Students to Test.
  3. Set the drop down menus to the desired instructor and class.
  4. Click Search.
  5. The results will appear in a pop up window. Note that you may have to select the next page with the arrow buttons at the bottom to view more students.
