Introduction
Dates for NWEA default terms and test window rules for reporting.

Information
NWEA's default test term window dates are as follows:
  • Fall 8/15 - 11/30
  • Winter 12/01 - 2/28
  • Spring 3/1 - 6/15
  • Summer 6/16 - 8/14

Test window rules:
  1. Your window does not have to follow NWEA's default dates.
  2. You can have your windows overlap with NWEA's default dates.
  3. None of your test windows may overlap from term to term. For example, your winter term cannot end on 3/1 while your spring term begins on 2/20.

What happens if my test window is before or after the default test dates?
  • Before: If your test window is before the default window (for example, your winter test window is in November), see Testing before NWEA default test windows.
  • After: If your test window is after the default window (for example, your spring test window is the entire month of June), you should be able to test and access reports normally. You can make changes in NTE Admin 2 for up to one term after the default test window has ended. For example, you can make changes to the spring window until the end of NWEA's summer term.
