Introduction
How to generate the Comprehensive Data File (CDF) in Client-Server MAP.

Steps
The Comprehensive Data File (CDF) is available for users with MAP Coordinator or School Administrator accounts. To generate a CDF:
  1. Log in to the NWEA Reports Site.
  2. Select Comprehensive Data File in the left navigation bar.
  3. MAP Coordinators: Select the aggregation type (district or school).
    • District and school files are processed independently. This means you may order a district file and then a school file (or vice versa) and the system will process both orders. Otherwise, you may only generate one CDF at a time.
  4. Select the box labelled Enable the Comprehensive Data File Scheduler.
  5. Select the term you are ordering for.
  6. Select how often you want to receive new files.
    • Each CDF will overwrite the previous order.
    • Daily and weekly CDFs are only available for the current term.
    • To order a CDF for a past term, select One time only.
  7. Check the boxes for any additional files you'd like included. Options are:
    • Student list by school - Default, cannot be unselected
    • Assessment results - Default, cannot be unselected
    • Student classroom assignments
    • Student (special) program participation
  8. Select Submit to save your order.

CDF orders are completed within 24 hours. To retrieve your CDF, return to this same Comprehensive Data File page. The active order will be listed at the top of the page with a Download link when it is ready.
