Question
Why is the projected RIT score lower than the student's current RIT score?

Answer
Growth projections are based off only one test score. So if you have, for example, a Fall to Spring growth projection, that is based off the Fall score only. If the student tests in Winter, it doesn't affect their Fall to Spring projection at all.

You can run a Winter to Spring projection to get an updated projection based on their Winter score.
