Symptom
Students are experiencing sporadic black screens during testing.

Explanation
The computer may have gone to sleep.

Solution
Check the power settings on student workstations. This typically occurs when the Lockdown Browser (also known as NWEA Secure Testing Browser) is left at the login screen for several minutes, during which the computer goes to sleep. Additionally, it may be worth communicating to proctors that the Lockdown Browser should be exited completely after each testing session.
