Question
Which assessments are high school math assessments?

Answer
The high school math tests are Algebra 1 or 2, Geometry, and Integrated Mathematics 1, 2, or 3. These tests are intended for students who are currently taking these math courses. Unlike the prior end-of-course tests, you can deliver these tests up to 3 times per year. The frequency depends on the standards alignment used in your district. Note that the standards alignment can be found in the test name. See Test names in MAP Growth.

As with other MAP Growth assessments, norms are available on reports (up to grade 10; see Are 11th and 12th grade norms available?), and you can view learning statements in the learning continuum.

What happens if a student takes two different types of math tests in the same year?

See Measuring growth with high school math tests (formerly end-of-course).
