Introduction
The difference between group errors and individual errors when doing a profile import.

Information
Both group and individual errors are reconcilable.

Group errors

Group errors result when there is a mismatch between data in MAP and data in the import file for schools, grades, ethnic groups, or programs. For example, your roster file may contain the school "Apple Elem" but MAP has the school "Apple Elementary".

Individual errors

Individual errors indicate possible duplicate teachers or students, or reused teacher IDs, usernames, or emails. Most errors are reconcilable. Some errors involving duplicate instructors may need to be fixed in Manage Users or in your roster file. See How to correct duplicate users in MAP.

What happens if I don't reconcile the errors?

If you choose not to reconcile errors (group or individual) the instructors or students associated with those errors will not be imported.
