Question
Does a student's growth projection change based on their performance on the winter MAP Growth test?

Answer
A student's growth projection and projected growth met are based on the term pair you select (for example, fall to spring) and the student's score in the first term of the pair. Growth projections for each term pair are independent of each other. So the growth projection for fall to winter is different from the fall to spring growth projection. If a student happens to meet or exceed their fall to spring growth projection on the winter test then this will not change the fall to spring growth projection.

You can set a new growth goal for the student by running a growth projection report for the winter to spring term pair.
