Question
How does the Highlights section of the Student Profile report work? What information is included?

Answer
The Highlights module displays results narratives for the following scenarios when applicable:
  • Areas of strength: Based on one or more instructional areas of relative strength from the most recent test event.
  • Areas of focus: Based on one or more instructional areas identified as suggested areas of focus from the most recent test event.
  • Low percentile: If the most recent test event has a status norms percentile ranking less than the 40th percentile.
  • High percentile: If the most recent test event has a status norms percentile ranking greater than the 60th percentile.

Note:
Some or all of the currently available scenarios may not apply to a student's test event in a particular subject area and the Highlights module will have nothing to display. For example, if a student is at the 50th percentile in math and does not have any identified areas of strength or suggested areas of focus. Available scenarios will be updated with future releases.
