Heat Map enhancements coming in June
- Skill status tracking: Simply click on the related cell on the Heat Map to see the source of the skill status. For example, you can see that the currently displayed skill status is the result of a Skills Locator, Mastery Check, or a manual educator update. Note: Skill statuses generated prior to the June 2018 release will show the source as “not found.”
- Mastery Check scores: You will now see the score the student received on Mastery Checks when clicking on a skill status generated from a Mastery Check assignment.
- Heat Map filter: By popular request, you can now limit the number of students you see on the Heat Map to only those who have worked in the strand (apply a simple filter near the top of the page).
Updated “Ready for Locator” card to show lowest MAP Growth Instructional Area
The “Ready for Locator” card on the Assignments tab now has a new default assignment setup. To be confident you’re finding the skills a student needs help with most, instead of setting up Skills Locators for all strands that don't have a “Needs Work” skill, it will set up Skills Locators for only the strands aligned to each student’s lowest MAP Growth Instructional Area score.
