Just like your students, MAP® Reading Fluency™ is growing, too. The following updates are effective August 27.
Since you may be the only recipient of this email within your district, we encourage you to forward this to teachers and others who might benefit from this information. Additionally, you’ll find details of this and past partner updates in the NWEA® Community.
Updated iPad application for student testing
A new version of the testing application is available for download from the iTunes App store. Please update to this version, 1.2, prior to student testing. Note that if you plan to utilize iPad devices for student testing, always make sure you have downloaded the latest version of the app.
Enhanced test management
The Assignments page, with its new look, is where you go to:
- make any needed changes to test assignments and check testing status anytime
- change the default test configuration to the Foundational Skills form
- assign a mouse skills check to one or more students
- unlock a student who failed the mouse skills check
- assign a new test to a student who has already completed a test this term
By default, each student will be assigned the Adaptive Oral Reading test form and no mouse skills check.
You will also notice that the Class Dashboard has been renamed Proctor Dashboard. Use the Proctor Dashboard to see in-progress tests/students and a flag of any student having trouble with their equipment.
