"Please check the internet connection" error on iPad in MAP Reading Fluency

When a student is taking a MAP Reading Fluency assessment on an iPad, they get an error message saying "There was an error loading content. Please check the internet connection and log back in" or "The result did not save. Please check the internet connection and log back in."

These errors indicate an issue with the network connection. The connection may have been lost, or may be unstable.

To resolve this issue:
  1. Exit the MAP Reading Fluency app.
  2. Verify that the internet connection is active and stable.
  3. Relaunch the app and have the student sign back in to continue their assessment where they left off. If the student got the error "The result did not save" then they will need to re-answer the question they submitted just before getting the error.
