Question
Why are older devices and operating systems no longer supported for MAP testing when they work for everything else?

Answer
Our goal is to always deliver the best testing experience as possible. As a result, when browsers and software versions are no longer supported by manufacturers like Apple or Microsoft, continuing to use this technology can create issues with our test delivery and security. Additionally, we are constantly updating our item pools and testing features. Older technology is not always able to deliver a great test experience, and it compromises our ability to provide educators with the most reliable data available in a secure test environment. With enough advance notice about technology changes, our intent is to support you and help you prepare for successful testing with MAP Growth.
