Unable to add students to a custom group

When you try to add students to a custom group, no students are found in the search. It is also possible that no teachers or classes appear in the search either.

The Manage Custom Groups search will only find students and teachers who are rostered for the current term.

While MAP Skills has a feature that allows teachers and students to continue using MAP Skills even when an organization hasn't yet rostered for the current term, the Manage Custom Groups search only searches for teachers and students who are rostered to the current term.

A MAP Data Administrator at your organization can verify whether teachers or students are rostered and, if necessary, import a roster to resolve this issue. See How to import rosters.
