Do you have examples of how faculty members have inspired their students and student body prior to MAP Growth Testing?
Please list them here
As a retired school administrator I have seen many great activities launched to inspired students prior to MAP Growth Testing. One that was very motivating was when a building staff wrote a parody of one of the Dr. Seuss books and acted it out for the students during an all-school assembly. The students loved it and talked about it throughout the testing season!
I team teach with another teacher, I do math/sci/ss and she does ELAR. So, when it was their time to go down and take their reading test, I had my math class make an inspirational poster on construction paper, we lined up out side the computer lab where they were going to take their test, and we cheered them on as they entered the lab! The smiles on their faces were heart warming!
That's fantastic. A peer support pep squad.
