Many schools are fast approaching the first Parent-Teacher Conference of the school year.  As you look for ways to share MAP data with parents consider the Student-Led Conference.  If you are new to this concept, check out the Teach. Learn. Grow blog by NWEA's Kathy Dyer, A New Twist on Family Meetings: Student-Led Conferences.  If this is a tool you have used before consider refreshing your approach with Five Tips for Setting Up Student-Led Parent-Teacher Conferences by our own Joi Converse.  Both blogs provide resources and support for how to empower your students by having them share their MAP Growth results and other educational milestones with their parents.  If you have tips of your own for your colleagues in the Community please reply to this discussion!
