Why is my Professional Development Online course "expired" and locked?
Can I get back in and view it again?
Hi Lynn! Angela reached out to one of our Business Technology Specialist for help on your issue. As Angela said in her reply above, we need to know the name of the course that you are trying to access in order to know exactly what the problem is. If you want to reach out to our Support team directly you can do so by using the link in the section below that I took from the Support page in the Community. From that location you can launch an online chat with a Support Specialist or you can find the phone number for the NWEA Technical Support line.
Something went wrong. Please contact NWEA Partner Support. Please include the exact wording of any errors you receive in the support request.

Thanks for reaching out. What is the name of the course you are trying to access?
I don't know which course she was trying to access, but I'm having the same issue with being locked out of the resources for Informing Instruction.
When I click on the link and log in, I get this:
Did you attend an Informing Instruction workshop, and if so, was it part of your district or another district?
You may also want to contact NWEA Partner Support for further assistance.
No I didn’t. The pdf was shared by our district trainer.

Hi Teresa! There are a couple of things to consider here. As a user in Professional Learning Online you automatically have access to a number of free courses. Informing Instruction, however, is a course or workshop that must be purchased by your district in order for you to have access to the associated materials. If your district did purchase an Informing Instruction workshop, the person designated as your district’s NWEA Administrator can set up staff members as PL Online users so that they have access to the materials. If the pdf that was provided to you by your district trainer was something he or she picked up at a regional event then your district may not have access to the materials as there was no Professional Learning purchased by your district for that course. You may need to contact your NWEA Administraor to check out to which workshops or courses you should have access. If after reviewing this information you find that you should have access to the Informing Instruction materials but do not, please use the Partner Support link to reach out to our Tech Support for further help. I hope this helps!

The course on differentiation. But several of the courses on the dashboard say they are "expired" and there's a lock icon on them.
Thanks for that observation JoDee! You are correct, expired courses are ones that have been updated or replaced with newer courses. If a lock appears on the course it cannot be accessed.
