MAP Growth Conditional Growth Index

We often hear questions from partners like the one below concerning the Conditional Growth Index. If you have any feedback you would like to share or additional questions to ask please reply to this discussion.  Meanwhile, one of our senior consultants will be posting his reply to this question soon so stay tuned! 

 

Is the Growth from Fall to Winter according to the Conditional Growth Index for the year (Fall to Spring) or relative to the metrics from Fall to Winter? For example, I am expecting more than a year's growth (+60th Percentile on Conditional Growth) for our students from Fall to Spring.  So if they are showing 30 percentile in the Winter, is that on track to "catch up" or is it still considered low growth by winter?
