Having the same passage appear multiple times on the reading test with new questions is challenging for younger students. We find that students in 3rd-5th grade are still developing their test taking skills. They assume that every time a "new" passage appears on the screen they have to read it. When in reality they should only use the passage for reference since they have already read it. The younger the student the harder it is for them to understand this concept. Have the test designers considered adding multiple questions, that pertain to the same passage, onto the same screen?
