The Secure Testing Browser hangs or is slow to launch.

The Secure Testing Browser loads slowly or hangs at a white screen or at the splash screen during launch.

Check date and time
Check the system clock. If the date is inaccurate, particularly the year, this can cause the Secure Testing Browser to hang on the NWEA splash screen or on a blank white screen. An inaccurate date can also cause certificate errors when accessing the testing URL and other secure websites.

Secure Testing Browser must be installed locally
The Secure Testing Browser is designed to be installed locally, on each computer. If the Secure Testing Browser is being launched from a network location, this can result in extremely long load times.
