Question
Does the Student Growth Summary report use student or school norms?

Answer
The report uses the school norms for the Comparison Periods section of the report. In the Growth Evaluated Against sections, it uses the school norms and the student norms as indicated in the column headers. This allows you to see both the performance of the grade or school as a whole, and the total number of students who met or exceeded their individual growth projections.

For additional details see Student Growth Summary in the MAP Help Center.
