How to install or update the MAP Reading Fluency Testing app for iPad.

You can view the MAP Reading Fluency Testing app, including the version history, on the iTunes® App Store here: MAP Reading Fluency Testing.

How to install the MAP Reading Fluency Testing app:

To install the app on an individual iPad:
  1. Open the App Store.
  2. Search for MAP Reading Fluency Testing.
  3. Tap the Get button to start the download.

To push the app to all school iPads:
You can use multiple device management (MDM) software to push the app to multiple iPads. This is considered an advanced installation technique and NWEA Partner Support may be unable to assist.

How to update the MAP Reading Fluency Testing app:

  1. Open the App Store.
  2. Select Updates at the bottom.
  3. If MAP Reading Fluency Testing is listed, an update is available. Tap Update.
Note: The MAP Reading Fluency testing application for iPad is not supported for any other iOS device, such as iPhones. For more information, see Setting Up for Testing in the MAP Reading Fluency Help Center.

About Guided Access:

NWEA recommends that when testing MAP Reading Fluency on iPads that Guided Access is enabled. If Guided Access is not enabled, students will be able to exit the application by pressing the Home Button.
