When you run the Workstation Diagnostic Tool at check.nwea.org, what does the "end-to-end performance check" mean?

The end-to-end performance check in the Workstation Diagnostic Tool sends a series of pings to three different sites used for testing.

It then creates an average response time of these pings to determine how quickly the traffic is passing from point A (student device) to point B (NWEA server). If this traffic is too slow or is encountering issues along the route it may cause issues during testing. If the response time average is higher than 1.5 seconds this check will fail.

In the report listed at the bottom of the page, you can see each of the three sites that are being pinged and determine which one might be slowing things down.
